The Inside Peace Project is a collective of volunteer yoga teachers bringing yoga and mindfulness to people incarcerated at the Jefferson County Detention Center.

Seva In Practice

Ready to deepen your practice and make a difference in someone’s life?

Classes are taught during the day, on a rotating volunteer schedule — anywhere from once a week to a few times a year. Sessions run about 60 minutes, and you're welcome to teach in whatever style or format feels natural to you.

No experience teaching in a correctional setting is required, but a working understanding of trauma-informed language & care is important.
